We are currently looking for a Product Manager – Practice Management Applications.

Requirements

Role Description

The Product Manager is responsible for the vision and profitability of a product line. This role works

closely with various teams to make business decisions and create product strategies that ensure the

company’s long-term sustainability. Specific functions of the role include understanding the South

Africa healthcare billing methodologies and processes for both Dental and Medical PMAs.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and

· generate innovative ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive

growth

· Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

· Develop product pricing and positioning strategies

· Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

· Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

· Develop strategies for data migration

· Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal

resources

· Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other

product management team members

· Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and

that the message is effectively conveyed

· Function as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

· Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and

services


Minimum Requirements

· MS/BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

· 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager or as an associate Product Manager

· Experience in Ambulatory Information systems (AIS) products and particularly in medical and

dental billing PMAs

· Proven history of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

· Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate

recommendations to executive management

· Solid technical background with understanding and/or first-hand experience in software

development and web technologies

· Demonstrated ability of collaborating effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix

organization

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience in using JIRA, GITLAB, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Office

collaboration tools
