About the Role
Design, implement, and manage robust applications along with their underlying infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services platform, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
Requirements
Job Output:
• Deliver well architected and scalable microservices.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement operational metrics and logging.
• Ensure all microservices and infrastructure adhere to security best practices.
• Review AWS costs related to microservices to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Product documentation detailing the design, deployment, and operation of microservices.
• Implement and test backup and disaster recovery Skills and Competencies:
• AWS proficiency. • Understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns.
• Strong Python programming abilities
• Understanding of RESTful web services.
• Git Source Control.
• Attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with a team of developers. Requirements Qualifications Diploma or degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or relevant AWS certifications
Experience:
At least 3 years hands on experience working with core AWS services including but not limited to Lambda, S3, RDS, EC2 and VPCs.
At least 2 years of Python programming At least 3 years’ experience automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
